Spice Bazzar is an award-winning Leicester Indian restaurant and takeaway based on Welford Rd. They came to us because their existing website wasn’t performing well, and their customers were finding it difficult to navigate.
One of the problems users found with their original site was it was hard to distinguish between the restaurant side of the business and the takeaway side. We split the site into two defined parts so that users could easily find the information they needed.
We used a combination of great photography and the client’s existing colour scheme to create a visually interesting website that serves both the business and its customers. The client has reported a large increase in online visits and telephone orders as a result of the new website.

We used the client’s colours and added traditional woodblock patterns as a background to give an Indian-inspired feel.
We separated the site into two defined areas – one for dining, and one for takeaway, so customers could find what they needed.
